The Journal of Biological Research Communication (JBRC) follows a transparent and moderate publication fee policy to support editorial processing, peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, and long-term archiving of published articles.
No Publication Fee Until June 2026
To encourage high-quality submissions during the initial phase of the journal, no publication fee will be charged for any manuscripts submitted and accepted up to 30 June 2026. During this period, authors can publish their work free of cost.
Publication Fees After June 2026
For manuscripts accepted after 30 June 2026, the following publication fees will apply:
For authors based in India, the publication fee is INR 2,500 per accepted manuscript.
For authors based outside India, the publication fee is USD 30 per accepted manuscript.
General Conditions
The publication fee, where applicable, is charged only after final acceptance of the manuscript. No fee is charged at the time of submission or during the peer review process. Payment of the publication fee does not influence editorial decisions, which are based solely on scientific merit and peer review outcomes.
Details regarding the payment procedure will be communicated to the corresponding author after acceptance of the manuscript.
